Why did the Ninth Circuit remand Madrigal-Barcenas v. Lynch?

On August 10, 2015, the Ninth Circuit remanded Madrigal-Barcenas v. Lynch, which was at the Supreme Court along with Mellouli v. Lynch. Mellouli v.
